2. Software Engineer (VAG001), Richmond, VA.
Job Description: Research, design and develop tax transaction software systems using UML, MS Visio, DB Design, and ERWIN; Implement applications using C#, Vb.net, Ajax, .net compact framework, ASP.NET 3.5/2.0, MS SQL 2008/2005, WCF; Design, develop, debug and test complex business components; Conduct data extraction and manipulation using Datasets, Data Tables, Data Columns, Lists, SSIS and ADO.NET; Gather and process company payroll tax calculation using Vertex Tax Engine; Create and implement Stored Procedures in SQL Server 2005 / 2008; Conduct unit testing and integration testing of systems software; Validate user interface using JavaScript; Generate reports using MS SQL Reporting Services / Crystal reports, experience in using 3rd party components.
Location: Richmond, VA. Must have a Master’s Degree or its equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years progressive experience after college) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering plus skills in WCF, Vertex tax engine, ASP.NET 3.5, AJAX, .net compact framework, SQL Server 2005 / 2008.
